Our Story
The Newark Educational Foundation (NEF) is a non-profit organization committed to enriching the educational experience for all students in the Newark Unified School District (NUSD) in Newark, California. We achieve this by securing and distributing resources that fund innovative programs, enhance learning environments, and empower student success.
Established in 2005, the Newark Educational Foundation (NEF) is dedicated to fostering educational excellence within the Newark Unified School District. Our focus has always been on the students, supporting them throughout their educational journey. We act as a bridge between the community and the children of Newark, facilitating investment in their future.

Every science, music program, and activity we support is carefully evaluated and monitored to ensure responsible use of funds. Our donations not only provide students with opportunities to explore science, technology, and the arts but also contribute to their personal growth and teamwork skills. We believe these experiences will empower our children to become valuable members of society.

We understand that expecting a clarinet beginner or a group of 5th graders on a field trip to change the world might seem ambitious. However, we see these experiences as just the starting point. Join us in investing in the future of Newark - our children.
